Trending Marble & Natural Stones in the USA

Updated: Sep 18, 2019

I'm seeing a few new trends that are picking up speed as we get closer to the end of the year. I've listed a few colors/types of marble and natural stones below for your reference:

1. Pure White Dolomite

Pure white dolomite is trending very high. However, normally I see the normal marble or natural stone pure white types trending really high. So the recent spike in requests for pure white dolomite this year is very unique. Especially since the pricing for pure white dolomite is much higher than the normal pure white marble/natural stone types. Keep an eye on this stone for the rest of the year as well as into 2020. More then likely, this stone will continue to trend upwards.

2. Silver Travertine

Silver travertine is back in play. After spending years not being requested, this unique travertine has really come on strong the past 12 months. On both the east and west coast, Silver Travertine has really become a major trend in doing a wide variety of commercial / residential projects. Also, both the cross cut look and vein cut are equally being requested. The next time you are looking for an authentic travertine look, don't forget about this trendy stone.

3. Multi-colored Veined Marble

The typical veined white, black and grey marble is always trending no matter what time of the year. But, there has been a unique increase in having multi-colored (purple, green, brown, red etc...) veined marble spiking in the last few months. Mostly in California, New York, and Texas. Also, the project types which are preferring these types of stones are usually high-end residential. I don't see this trend lasting for more than a year or so. But, I could be wrong.

I will continue to update everyone on some new trends periodically throughout the remainder of the year. I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the week!

Oh yea! Almost forgot! Be sure to share this post on any platform convenient for you. It really helps the growth of my new blog! Thank you in advance.
