Understanding our furniture delivery options...

Our delivery options allow you to receive your furniture orders in four different ways (FOB, CIF, DTD and Air Cargo delivery options). Allowing you to be more involved during the delivery process with FOB or CIF options or you can pick the DTD (door-to-door) ocean freight and DTD Air Cargo delivery options if you prefer to have your furniture order delivered to you in the most convenient way possible. Our DTD Air Cargo delivery option allows smaller furniture orders (normally less than 2 pallets per order) to be delivered much quicker vs. the normal ocean freight deliveries. However, keep in mind that the DTD Air Cargo costs are significantly higher than ocean freight due to the weight restrictions on 1 pallet sent via air freight being much less than the total weight allowed for 1 20' FCL non-reefer container.
 
Having the best delivery option services for our clients is very important to our organization. Maintaining high quality furniture and efficient delivery services go hand-in-hand together. FOB (free-on-board)

FOB delivery is when our client's total order billing amount covers all costs up to the point of when the shipment has been fully loaded on the vessel (before the vessel embarks from the Port of Loading).
Once the entire shipment has been fully loaded and confirmed on the vessel, the client is responsible for any/all costs thereafter.
Our logistics department handles all scheduling, coordination and management needed to successfully deliver the entire shipment to the client. While also coordinating with the client during each stage of delivery and thereafter. We also ensure that any/all customs requirements as per the import/export customs requirements are met.

FOB Loading Timeline

The normal completion time it takes for orders within 1 - 10 FCL 20' non-reefer containers to be fully loaded on the scheduled vessel(s) is 7-10 total days from the completion date of production for the entire order. 
Please Note: Orders that are 10 or more FCL 20' non-reefer containers, may take longer then 7-10 total days. 

CIF (cost, insurance and freight)

CIF delivery is when our client's total order billing amount covers all costs up to the point of when the shipment being delivered reaches the client's preferred POD (Port of Discharge).
Once the vessel holding the entire shipment(s) has arrived at the POD the client is responsible for any/all costs thereafter. CIF delivery does not cover costs of any importing actions taken at the POD.
Our logistics department handles all scheduling, coordination and management needed to successfully deliver the entire shipment to the client. While also coordinating with the client during each stage of delivery and thereafter. We also ensure that any/all customs requirements as per the import/export customs requirements are met.

CIF Arrival Timeline

The normal completion time it takes for orders to reach the USA & Canada vary depending on the soonest available vessel scheduled as well as the location of the POD. 
Please Note: The expected arrival time of the entire shipment will be confirmed prior to the vessel departure at the POL.

*DTD (door-to-door delivery)

*Available for USA & Canada Clients Only

DTD (door-to-delivery) is when our client's total order billing amount covers all costs up to the point of when the shipment arrives at the delivery address preferred by the client. 
Once the entire shipment has been successfully cleared at the POD, our logistics department notifies the client and delivers the entire shipment directly to the client's delivery address. DTD delivery covers the entire project costs of both supply and delivery from A-Z. Giving our client's a complete peace-of-mind without having to take any time for importing orders into the USA or Canada.
Our logistics department handles all scheduling, coordination and management needed to successfully deliver the entire shipment to the client. While also coordinating with the client during each stage of delivery and thereafter. We also ensure that any/all customs requirements as per the import/export customs requirements are met.

DTD Delivery Timeline

The normal DTD delivery time it takes for the entire shipment to reach the client's preferred delivery address is usually 2-10 total days from the moment of being cleared at the POD (depending on the proximity of the client's delivery address in conjunction with the POD used for the current shipment). 

Air Cargo (arriving at the client's terminal)

Air Cargo is when our client's total order billing amount covers all costs up to the point to when the shipment arrives at the client's preferred terminal (airport). This option is normally common for our retail and e-commerce client business models. As the air cargo delivery option is per pallet instead of filling a full container. However, as stated above the costs of sending orders for air cargo are significantly higher than sending orders via ocean freight. As the ocean freight delivery options allow a much higher amount of weight allowed for one order.
Before the shipment has arrived at the designated terminal (clearing airport), our logistics department notifies the client and of the expected arrival date for their order.
Please note: This option does not include Agora to import/clear the order at the designated terminal. These costs and responsibilities of importing/clearing the order at the designated terminal are completed by the client. However, our logistics department handles all scheduling, coordination and management needed to successfully deliver the entire shipment to the client. While also coordinating with the client during each stage of delivery and thereafter. We also ensure that any/all customs requirements as per the import/export customs requirements are met.

Air Cargo Delivery Timeline

The normal air cargo delivery time it takes for the entire shipment to reach the client's preferred designated terminal is usually 2-7 total days from the day the tile order has departed from the designated airport used by Agora. However, there are occasions where customs at the final destination terminal requires additional days to clear the air cargo delivery. 

*DTD Air Cargo (door-to-door delivery)

DTD Air Cargo is when our client's total order billing amount covers all costs up to the point to when the shipment arrives at the delivery address preferred by the client via air freight delivery.
Once the entire shipment has been successfully cleared at the designated terminal (clearing airport), our logistics department notifies the client and delivers the entire shipment directly to the client's delivery address. DTD delivery covers the entire project costs of both supply and delivery from A-Z. Giving our client's a complete peace-of-mind without having to take any time for importing orders into the USA or Canada.

DTD Air Cargo Delivery Timeline

The normal DTD delivery time it takes for the entire shipment to reach the client's preferred delivery address is usually 1-2 weeks from the day the tile order has departed from the designated airport used by Agora. However, there are occasions where customs at the final destination terminal requires additional days to clear the air cargo delivery. 
IMPORTANT FURNITURE ORDER INFORMATION: 
- Minimum standard orders are required to be a minimum of 1/2 of a 20' non-reefer container in total quantity (if shipped by ocean freight) and a minimum of 1 full pallet in total quantity (if shipped by air cargo / air freight).
- Any custom orders are required to be a minimum of 1/2 of a 20' non-reefer container in total quantity (if shipped by ocean freight) and a minimum of 4 full pallets in total quantity (if shipped by air cargo / air freight).
- Deliveries available for furniture orders are FOB, CIF or DTD (door-to-door delivery). DTD Deliveries are applicable for USA and Canada clients only.
- All shipping documentation needed for any orders are coordinated with the client as per the above mentioned delivery categories. If DTD delivery is confirmed by the client, only the expected/confirmed delivery times are coordinated (as the shipping documentation will be handled internally with Agora's customs and logistics department).
- The client is responsible to coordinate and confirm all order details with Agora prior to Agora sending the pro-forma invoice to the client.
- All orders must be confirmed by pro-forma invoice via email which is sent from Agora directly to the client's representative(s). If the pro-forma invoice is not confirmed no orders will be scheduled for production.
- All order payment terms and delivery terms are confirmed within the pro forma invoice
- All changes needed as per the client's requests must be made via telephone and followed up with a written email which will be mutually confirmed between the client and Agora. If changes are not properly coordinated via telephone and followed up with by email between both parties, the client's changes will not be implemented.
- The client must notify Agora of any damages to the order (if any) within 48 hours from receiving the entire shipment.
